Fitness Assessment

We invite all members to participate in our “Be Fit 4 Life” Fitness Assessment. This program is designed for the individual who wants to accomplish total fitness for life. Participants will learn how to efficiently and effectively workout by understanding the components of fitness: cardiovascular system, muscular-strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition carried out without injury.

The Benefits

A fitness assessment provides a base line for your fitness level. When you make a commitment to a fitness program, many ways exist to measure your progress. A fitness assessment will provide you with information on your current level of fitness. With these results, our professional, certified fitness specialist will help you set realistic goals as well as design a fitness program tailored just for you and will be carried out without injury based on your past medical history.

Group Fitness

The benefits of group fitness classes are abundant. The following are just a few examples:

Group Fitness Featuring Kinesis

Kinesis is made up of panels of grips, cables and weight stacks that allow for three-dimensional movements and multi-plane motion. It works because the system follows your body in movements, rather than you having to follow the machine’s pattern. Kinesis uses resistance combined with movement and covers all three components of fitness—cardiovascular, strength and flexibility in 30 minutes!

Aquatic Group Fitness

Deep Water Aqua-Reduces weight bearing effects on the body, plus creates additional work for the individual. This is great for increased cardiovascular workouts, body sculpting and deep-end jogging.
Water Walking-Moving forward, backward and sideways with arm movements plus a portion of endurance and cardiovascular exercise helps to keep your muscles toned.
Shallow Water Aqua-Designed to provide warm-up, cardio portion, endurance and cool down.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is available by appointment by one of our professional massage therapists. Massages increase circulation, promotes relaxation, eases aches and pains, relieves stress and relieves muscular tension. Massage options are as follows:

Swedish Massage-designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation, promoting relaxation and relieving stress.

Therapeutic Massage-this firm muscle therapy helps with chronic pain and injury rehabilitation while reducing inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.

Neuromuscular Therapy-utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system.

Sports Massage-help to prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage-advanced therapy in which the practitioner uses a range of specialized and gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of the lymph flow. This stimulates the lymphatic vessels that carry substances vital to the defense of the body and removes waste products.
